GLOBECOM 2021 will be a hybrid conference allowing registrants the choice to attend the event virtually or in-person. This format is an exciting opportunity for ComSoc that comes with the challenge of supporting the additional costs needed to provide a valuable and immersive experience for all attendees.
The in-person experience brings our community together but also must support the traditional costs associated with face-to-face events like space rentals and food and beverage. We must then also use in-person services to bring the content to our virtual users via broadcasting and streaming services. As a result, the author’s registration fees will be set equally regardless of attendance type.
