IEEE GLOBECOM 2021 Workshop on
Communication and Networking for Cloud-integrated Edge Computing
Cloud-integrated Edge Computing offers a much more fluid, real-time environment. It moves applications, data and services away from the central cloud to the edge. The shift to cloud-integrated edge computing has new requirements and offers opportunities for innovation applications. This workshop covers all aspects of network architecture, model, algorithm and protocol for cloud-integrated edge computing. The workshop invites submissions of the unpublished works on the following topics (but not limited to):
- Network architecture, model, algorithm, protocol design for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Ubiquitous convergence of computing, network and storage for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Deterministic networking technology for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Information-centric networking, named data networking, content-centric networking for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Blockchain for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Software defined networks for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Machine learning and deep learning enabled cloud-integrated edge computing application
- Automation and optimization for integrated networking, caching and computing
- QoS provisioning and resource management for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Energy-efficiency for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Performance evaluation for cloud-integrated edge computing
- Testbed and prototype implementation for cloud-integrated edge computing
